More investment needed for Laos to reap profits from agriculture

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Regional demand for crops and livestock remains high but Laos is unable to capitalise on its potential to satisfy the regional market need, according to a senior official.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr Bounkhuang Khambounheuang recently stressed the need for Laos to attract investment in agriculture in order to strengthen the export market.
